For starters, Don only accepted almost $50,000 in campaign contributions, from 171 donors.  This is now NINE SIX TIMES that of fellow councilman Dick Nichols, and almost equal to that of teammate Tod Ridgeway (with 177 donors).  It is also worth noting that only about $14,341, or 29%, of his campaign contributions came from the real estate/construction/architectural, as opposed to Tod's 50-60%.

Even more alarming is the amount of un-receipted cash that Gary claimed - $10,889, or 22% of his total.  On a positive note, although Gary does share 31 of his 171 donors with Tod, and we did see one Andrew Goetz contribution of $250, we didn't find any Duda or Marvin Engineering money.

On the expenditure side, we see that Don also made substantial payments to "David Ellis & Associates", in the neighborhood of almost $24,000.  Unlike Gary Adams, we didn't find any bills that David paid, so apparently that was his fee!  Lastly, Don also paid his "Team Newport" membership dues of $9,999, to the team.
