In his book, "En Route to Global Occupation", author Gary H Kah documents the fact that all of the executive departments of the U.S. have been dominated by members of:

Coucil on Foreign Relations (CFR)
Trilateral Commission (TC)
Bilderberger (BIL)
Masonic Lodge (Freemasons)

This includes the State Deparment, Treasury Department, Department of Defense, National Security advisors, even most of our ambassadors. 

Let's review the members of our current administration:
President George W Bush:  Skull & Bones
Vice President, Dick Cheney:  CFR / TC
Secretary of State, Colin Powell:  CFR / BIL
Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld:  BIL
Secretary of Labor, Elaine Chao:  CFR
